How to get to our offices
From Airport
Option 1 (60 minutes)
- Take the “Aerobus” (A1 Terminal 1 – A2 Terminal 2) from the airport (blue bus) to Plaza Catalunya.
- Walk through Ronda Sant Pere until Urquinaona Metro station
- Take metro Line 4 , headed to La Pau. Alight in Bogatell stop.
- Take the exit Pujades/Pere IV and walk towards Southeast through calle Pujades
- Turn left towards calle Zamora.
Option 2 (50 minutes)
- Take the “Aerobus” (A1 Terminal 1 – A2 Terminal 2) from the airport (blue bus) to Plaza Catalunya.
- Follow the instructions to get into metro Line 1 and continue headed to Fondo. Alight in Marina.
- Head South through calle Almogàvers.
- Take second right towards calle Zamora.
Option 3 (45 minutes)
- Walk 200 meters from Terminal 2 to Airport Train Station.
- Take any of Cercanías train from Line R2. Alight in Passeig de Gracia.
- Take metro Line 4 , headed to La Pau. Alight in Bogatell stop.
- Take the exit Pujades/Pere IV and walk towards Southeast through calle Pujades
- Turn left towards calle Zamora.
From Train Station
Passeig de Gràcia (20 minutes)
- Take metro Line 4 headed to La Pau. Alight in Bogatell stop.
- Take the exit Pujades/Pere IV and walk towards Southeast through calle Pujades.
- Turn left towards calle Zamora.
Sants (35 minutes)
- Take metro Line 5 headed to Vall d’Hebron.
- Alight in Verdaguer stop and change to Yellow Line.
- From Verdaguer station Line 4 take metro headed to La Pau. Alight in Bogatell stop.
- Take the exit Pujades/Pere IV and walk towards Southeast through calle Pujades.
- Turn left towards calle Zamora.

Taxi is only allowed in the following three scenarios:
- Transfer is to be before 8hrs or after 22hrs.
- If public transport is not an option (or if for security is not authorized)
- If you carry heavy MSF material.

Theft and pickpockets in Barcelona
As in any other city, you should look out for pickpockets. Always keep your belongings on you and don’t get distracted if you pause for a moment to admire Barcelona’s architecture. You should take special care with your luggage, suitcase, camera, purse and wallet, which are the main targets of thieves and pickpockets. You should also stay alert when eating in a restaurant, drinking in a bar or sitting on a terrace.
Never carry with you more than you actually need when out and about in the city. If you have valuables and your room isn’t ready upon your arrival, always leave them in the safe (the hotel will have them if you require them). You should also be aware that some robberies have been reported in waiting areas and hotel lounges. Thefts have occurred close to our MSF office; please remember that it isn’t the safest neighbourhood in Barcelona.
